Summary

The study provides an extensive analysis of the global landscape of Open Finance, studying its origins, development, and different regulatory models, including those market-oriented (U.S.), regulation-oriented (E.U.), and standard-oriented (U.K. and others). It also features a detailed examination of Open Finance in several countries, such as Australia, India, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile, before focusing on a comprehensive diagnosis of the Brazilian Open Finance system. The analysis of the Brazilian model covers its governance structure, phased implementation status, market penetration, and quality of service, ultimately offering lessons and recommendations for future development both within Brazil and in other jurisdictions.
